Spearheading the Justice Money Power Movement

Tuti’s Story

Born in a rural town and shaped by adversity and resilience, my pronouns are lesbian feminist! Growing up with family mental health challenges and hardships, I found strength in my mother Susan’s optimism and playful abundance. My values of community and creativity, shaped by my childhood, have fueled my passion for justice and equity and guided me throughout my life.

Basketball gave me my first taste of belonging, leadership, and achievement, and, alongside my white privilege, helped me to jump class. Sports taught me so many skills that are the foundation of my approach to leadership with teams, in the boardroom, or within philanthropic communities.  As a spiritual point guard and coach, I love to inspire action while leading with heart, humor, and conviction.

My life’s purpose is clear:

COACHING HOPE - LOVING WOMEN - EMBODYING PLAY - and - TRANSFORMING POWER.

My survival and thriving from cancer and multiple heart surgeries bring a sense of gratitude, a deep inner knowing, and presence to go alongside my feisty impatience with the status quo.  I am on a continuous journey to be an active anti-racist ally and co-conspirator.

I am a gender avenger living at the intersection of money, women+, and power. I am driven by promoting giving and investing in women+ as a strategy for humanity and the planet’s survival while motivating people to move capital in alignment with this imperative.

TESTIMONIES FROM CLIENTS AND AUDIENCE MEMBERS:

I love all of your connection to sport and movement to energize women and bring action, wellness and a ‘can do spirit’ to their aura AND our perspective of them.
I feel so inspired by you and your ability to press on and accomplish great forward motion for women to break free from the patriarchy.
Tuti is fun, engaging, and always thought provoking. You might think of her as the Ellen DeGeneres of women’s philanthropy and the Ann Richards of social justice.

My professional career has given me the opportunity to have spectacular roles within movements for gender justice in sports, philanthropy, and leadership.

I have been a facilitator and producer of workshops for the Jewish and secular Women’s Funding Network and their member funds, an interim CEO (twice), a certified fundraiser (10 years!), a strategist for multiple coalitions and networks, curated a community of Women&Money leaders, wrote dozens of pieces on embodied leadership, sports, leadership, and investing and giving with a gender lens, coached dozens of leaders and philanthropists…and I am just getting started!!

I am grateful for all of the brilliant feminists, funders, and leaders I get to learn with and from along the way.
